Contributing

PLD-SAP is a platform, and platforms improve through variants and validation data, not just code patches. Valuable contributions, roughly in order of usefulness:

• Validation reports. Every 🟡 estimated or ❓ untested requirement in the module specs is an open experimental question. If your build differs (different pump, different laser, different scanner), telling us what worked at what values upgrades the spec for everyone.
• Module variants. New implementations of a module spec (<module>-vN+1). A variant proposal should state which spec requirements it meets, which interfaces it touches, and evidence it works.
• Documentation fixes — especially where instructions were ambiguous enough that you had to guess.
