Module specifications

Each module page follows the same template: Function → Requirements (validated ✅ / estimated 🟡 / untested ❓) → Interfaces → Design rationale → Procurement guide → Reference implementation → Known variants.

The specifications state what a module must do; the r1 build shows one way to do it. When they disagree with your constraints, satisfy the spec, not the r1 parts list.

• Vacuum system — chamber, pumping, feedthroughs.
• Frame & beam delivery — structure, laser, steering, switch mirror, galvo and rails.
• Ablation scanner — target-coverage optomechanics.
• Main mechanism — in-vacuum tape/mask transport, target and substrate holders.
• Electronics — controller, drivers, interlocks, power.
